JSC, MOSAIC and the Office of the Chaplain will be co-hosting Holi-Purim on Saturday, March 2 at 5:30 in Weitz Commons. This is a celebration unique to Carleton in that it brings together two traditions of different religions. Holi is a Hindu holiday that commemorates the return of spring after a long winter and also symbolizes good triumphing over evil. Jewish Purim is a joyous celebration that commemorates how ancient Jews were spared from massacre during the Persian Empire.

Dinner from Thaliwala provided after cultural performances.
